Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza Serves Approx: 6 – 8
Makes 2 9inch deep dish pizzas
Who doesn’t love pizza? Chicago’s signature pizza style is quite controversial in the USA, especially among New Yorkers, who may argue that it isn’t a pizza at all. I don’t care what you call it. I think that not only is this a delicious, unique dish, but also think its one of the most deliciously decadent things I’ve ever eaten. Read Recipe
Cincinnati Style Chilli Recipe Serves 4
Hi everyone, Mark here. Alicia and I love spicy food and I love to make chilli (or chili if you’re American, don’t worry, I wont hold it against you, but you are wrong. Just kidding. Kinda). So, while browsing recipes for a different chilli, I came across something that looked like spaghetti bolognese. When I looked at the recipe, I decided to give it a go. I still remember the first time we made this and it was blow your head off hot! This was when we discovered that apparently American chilli powder actually contains other spices in it so it’s actually not as hot as the rest of the world’s chilli powder which is made out of only dried chilli’s. So if you’re from America and are reading this recipe and thinking “pfft 3tsp of chilli powder?” this is for Australian chilli powder (or other countries whose chilli powder is pure chilli’s) which is 8 times hotter than your chilli powder .
If you’re wanting to broaden your cooking skills then stop right here and give this recipe a go! It’s so simple and is the easiest rough puff pastry recipe ever. Read Recipe
There’s nothing like a weekend breakfast of a toasted English Muffin sandwich with your favourite fillings. Or simply just toasted with a bit of butter or jam!
Hi all, Mark here. When Alicia asked me what to do with our leftover roast chicken, I decided to take a look online. I found a slow cooker/crockpot recipe that caught my eye but it didn’t quite suit what we wanted. So, after tweaking it enough that I’m not just stealing someone else’s recipe, I came up with something that may well become a family favourite for us. Read Recipe
